There is a book called 1001 books you must read before you die, edited by Peter Boxall. The original book was issued in 2006. In 2008 a second edition was released which replaced almost three hundred of the original books with different ones.
My plan is to read as many of those books, as I possibly can. Currently there are 1283 of them to plough through. That's until the next edition comes out, that is. This page will be used to keep track of which ones I have read so far, and also, which ones I have on my To be read pile, and which are coming to me via Bookrings and rays.
Some of the ones I read will then be donated to the Bookcrossing 1001 books library, which I am also borrowing some books from.

I'm also keeping track using an Excel spreadsheet. It contains all the books from both editions and is sortable by several categories. You can enter books read, to be read, and bookrings to keep track of those too. If you'd like to use it, feel free to download it using the link below.
It's based on a spreadsheet done by Arukiyomi and was put together with help from Lucy-lemon and Soffitta1 over on BookCrossing.
If anyone notices any mistakes that I've made, or typos, I'd be grateful if you could post details in the comments box at the bottom of the page so I can fix it.
